About Us
Girlguiding Essex North East is part of Girlguiding, the largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women in the UK. Guiding enables girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference to the world.
Girlguiding Essex North East is a registered charity and stretches from Ingatestone to Harwich, from Burnham on Crouch to Great Yeldham with members ranging from the newest Rainbow to our team of volunteer leaders and commissioners and all those in between.
Our County Office
Our county office is staffed Tuesday to Friday mornings, offering help and support to our volunteers and a point of contact for initial enquiries.

Riffhams – our county campsite
Riffhams campsite extends to 9 acres of woodland and grassland suitable for camping, outdoor evenings meetings and fun days for units, districts and divisions.

GENE – our county radio show
The GENE radio show is for all supporters of Girlguiding. The two hour show is produced and presented by members of Girlguiding Essex North East and is broadcast at 10am on the first Sunday of every month on Chelmsford Community Radio. Listen on 104.4FM or online.
Essex North East Trefoil Guild
Essex North East Trefoil Guild consists of 14 individual Trefoil Guilds covering nearly all parts of the county. You will find fun and friendship, be able to get involved as much as you wish to, give support to the community and if looking for something new can take on challenges.
